Background

Genesis Christian College is a Prep-year 12 school with 1500 students and over 1000 families.

Genesis Christian College students are supported by a strong pastoral care and personal development program, which is led by a dedicated team. They also regard the education of all students as an important partnership and provide many avenues for parents to be highly engaged with their child’s schooling

Genesis Christian College already used TASS as their school management system, and implemented School EasyPay for the 2020 school year.

The main aim was to be able to collect fees quickly and make the process easy for parents to pay on time. School EasyPay has provided significant savings in administration time and has improved cash flow for the school.

Implementation Process

Simple set up

Genesis Christian College got in touch with School EasyPay in November 2019. They filled in a one page form, and were set up straight away, well in advance of the new school year.

Easy Implementation

Implementation was easy through the TASS Parent Payment Schedules module; there was no need to change banking processes or software. TASS & School EasyPay were on hand to help set it up every step of the way.

Parent Communication

The enhanced payment methods were communicated to parents through the School App and Social Media pages. Parents then simply visited TASS' Parent Lounge and easily set up their direct debit. Parents entered their card or bank details themselves saving the school admin time and removing the need to handle sensitive data.

Operating Seamlessly

Setting up payments is now just another useful feature in the Parent Lounge. Parents can choose the frequency that suits them best (Genensis offer Quarterly, fortnightly or weekly frequencies). Parents can now securely change their card or bank details themselves without having to contact the school.
